FOUNDER AND HEAD TRAINER

LUCAS KEPHART

The Hitter's Lab was founded by Lucas Kephart, who graduated from The University of Texas with a bachelor of science in education, with an emphasis on youth and community studies. Kephart began his coaching career in Texas, as a student-assistant coach under the greatest NCAA Division 1 baseball coach of all time, Augie Garrido. Upon moving back to California, Kephart built a plethora of skills and knowledge as a strength coach, physical education teacher, scout, catching, and hitting instructor. As owner and head instructor of THL, he has a passion and drive to develop baseball and softball hitters to the best of their ability. Kephart currently works with players in the following states: California, Washington, Nevada, Utah, Illinois, and Mississippi.
